Under Conditions of Load

These works do not treat painting as an image or fixed form, but place it under conditions of load. Through accumulation, compression, and vertical reorientation, pigment, mineral matter, and stainless-steel mesh enter relations of Bearing. Gravity introduces directional inequality; detachment, fracture, and Failure reorganize how materials bear one another. Through re-embedding and Redistribution, Formation continues under altered conditions.

Breath here is neither a bodily metaphor nor evidence that matter is alive. It names continuation without reset: prior relations are neither preserved unchanged nor erased, but continue to participate consequentially in subsequent Formation. Painting becomes a material field in which Continuity is tested through Bearing and Re-ordering.
